William P.D. Bailey (American, 20th Century)
Two Works: Shirt with Large Checkerboard, unsigned, titled and dated "1988" on the reverse, mixed media paper collage mounted to fabric backing, 38 x 56 in., in a Plexiglas box frame; and Blue Angel, unsigned, titled on a business card from William P.D. Bailey, New York, taped to the reverse, oil on wood slats measuring 2 x 36 x 1/2 in. each, assembled dimensions 50 x 35 x 1/2 in., unframed, with a hanging mechanism on the reverse. Condition: Good.
Provenance: A private New York and Massachusetts collection.
Framed dimensions are 43 x 60 x 2 1/8 in. Frame is partially unglued at seam along bottom edge.
