Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951)

Black Ducks No. 2, 1919, trial proof C-2 (Paff, 165). Signed "FrankWBenson." in pencil l.l., pencil annotations to the lower margin. Drypoint on paper, plate size 10 x 8 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins over 2 inches or more with deckled edges, soiling, folds, and creases to margins, hinging residue and losses to upper corners.

Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
