Three Portraits of Catherene Green Arapoff. Signed "Arapoff" l.c., l.r., and l.l. One watercolor and pencil, two gouache and ink on paper, sight sizes to 21 x 11 in., all framed. Condition: One with small tear or crease to u.r. corner, all with gentle toning, handling creases, not examined out of frames.
Provenance: By descent in the family of the artist.
N.B. Catherene Green Arapoff was the wife of the artist. She was from Massachusetts and a student at Radcliffe, studying abroad at the Sorbonne, when they met. They were married at the Church of the Madeleine in Paris in 1929.
