Confederate Retractable Blade Pike, c. 1861-65, two-piece wooden haft with iron double-edged retractable blade, two brass ferrules and two iron ferrules holding the two piece haft together, and iron latches to hold the blade up or down, blade lg. 14 3/4, overall lg. 87 in.
Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Fort Ticonderoga Museum.
