American Short Saber and Scabbard, c. early to mid-19th century, brass hilt with leather-wrapped grip, engraved steel blade, black leather scabbard with brass throat and drag, blade lg. 25, overall lg. 30 1/4 in.
Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Fort Ticonderoga Museum.
