Silver-hilt Sword with Lion Pommel, c. 19th century, silver hilt and handguard, lion pommel with an eagle engraved on the back, bone grip, fire-blued steel blade marked Warranted with foliate designs, panoply of arms, and an eagle, blade lg. 32 3/4, overall lg. 38 3/4 in.

Provenance: Sold to benefit the acquisition fund of the Fort Ticonderoga Museum.

Has a coating of museum varnish over the hilt and blade, missing a small branch near the quillon, has some light patina on the blade.
