Francis Thurkle Eagle-pommel Hanger and Scabbard, c. 1795-1800, gilt-brass hilt with checkered ivory grip, steel blade with fire blue and gilt, engraved with a panoply of arms, eagle and shield, a native, and foliate designs, tooled leather scabbard with gilt-brass throat and frog stud, middle band, and drag, blade lg. 31 1/2, overall lg. 38 1/2 in.

Some gilt loss, hilt is a little loose, leather scabbard has some very light crackling on finish but is in good condition considering its age.
