Eli Terry Jr. Pillar and Scroll Shelf Clock, Terrysville, Connecticut, c. 1825, the mahogany scroll top case with freestanding columns flanking the full length door, the upper section over the painted wood Roman numeral dial (replaced),the lower section a reverse-painted tablet of a coastal scene, maker's label on inside backboard, wood, thirty-hour, time and strike movement powered by two cast iron weights and regulated by a pendulum, ht. 31 1/2 in.
