New England Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, c. 1820, the mahogany case with Roman numeral painted iron dial, gilt rope-molded frames encasing the reverse-painted tablets, the lower tablet depicting a ships battle and reading Enterprize and Boxer, throat tablet reading Patent, brass side ornaments, and gilded pedestal, brass, eight-day, time-only movement, pendulum and lead weight, ht. 40 in.
glasses appear to be original, dial has been repainted.
