Ribbon Hilt Broadsword, c. late 17th century, iron hilt with engraved ribbon-shaped bars, iron pommel, leather and wire-wrapped grip, iron blade with possibly a running fox engraved on each side of the blade, and illegible markings, blade lg. 38 1/2, overall lg. 44 1/2 in.

Some period repairs on the hilt, some pitting on the blade appropriate to its age, leather on grip is in good condition.
