National Deringer in Case, c. 1865-70, serial number 1480, engraved brass frame, steel barrel marked NATIONAL ARMS CO., bottom of the barrel marked PAT. FEB 24, 1863, with a velvet-lined wooden case, a primer tin, and a cartridge label on a wooden block, case lg. 7 1/2, wd. 4 1/2, ht. 2 in.
