Japanese Double Foliot Yagura Dokei Clock, mid-19th century, the domed bell mounted over the engraved brass case with foliate vines, the front with two calendar apertures, fixed round chapter ring with revolving hand and alarm setting disc in the center, the brass, time, strike, and alarm movement regulated by twin foliots and auto change-over, powered by two painted iron weights, with modern wall bracket, ht. 12 in.
Foliate and movement weights are modern replacements. Wall bracket of a later period than the clock.
