Virginia Manufactory Second Model Musket, c. 1812, walnut stock with iron fittings, tail of the lockplate marked RICHMOND/1812, and in front of the hammer VIRGINIA, breech marked with an eagle over P, barrel lg. 40 3/4, overall lg. 56 1/2 in.

Stock has a few dings and nicks, lock functions but the mainspring is a little worn, overall in very good condition with plum colored iron parts.
