Description:

Prosser Flintlock Pistol, c. early 19th century, walnut stock with checkered wrist, engraved iron fittings, and a silver escutcheon plate, lock with external safety marked PROSSER, octagonal damascus barrel marked on the top -CHARING-CROSS-LONDON-, with gold touch hole and band around the breech, overall lg. 16 in.
Estimate $1,500-1,800

A few very light spots on the top of the barrel, lock functions properly, overall in very good condition.
