Miniature Portrait of Benjamin Woodard. Unsigned. Watercolor on paper affixed to a light blue fabric ground, showing the subject in profile facing left, the chamfered backboard inscribed in pen "BENJ. WOODARD/TAKEN IN THE YEAR 1817," in an eglomise mat with oval aperture, 6 1/4 x 5 1/4 in. overall, in a molded giltwood and gesso frame. Condition: Abrasions to pigment.
