Inlaid Mahogany Linen Press and Butler's Desk, possibly southeastern United States, c. 1790-1810, molded and carved and diamond-inlaid cornice above two hinged doors inlaid with ovals and banding within mitred panels opening to shelves on the lower section with pullout desk drawer, the interior with prospect door flanked by document drawer, valance drawer, compartments, and four short drawers, all with inlaid stringing and figured maple veneer, on three cockbeaded drawers and flared French feet, refinished, (restoration),ht. 89 1/2, wd. 47 3/4, dp. 21 1/2 in.
