Pair of Empire-style Figural Parcel-gilded Bronze Five-light Candelabra, probably France, 19th century, each with central sconce above four additional sconces, all with fish scale decoration to drip cups and arms, issuing from a basket of flowers held by a woman in classical dress, on cylindrical base embossed with flowerheads, and further mounted to square foot, now electrified as lamp bases, unmarked, ht. to top of central sconce 28 1/2 in.
Each with darkening and loss/rubbing to gilt. Patina with inconsistencies. Several stems loose. One stem with loss to scrolled element. Only three bobeches.
