Description:

Two Bronze Yachting Medals, one Theodore B. Starr, the obverse with central image of racing sailboats surrounded by cast inscription, "Intendemus Ventis Vela Secundis Atlantic Yacht Club," with outer engraved inscription, "Race July 7-1902 Class L Second Prize Won by Heron," the reverse blank, dia. 2 1/2; the other a British American Cup Crew Medal, the obverse with two classicaly dressed female figures gazing at sailboats on the horizon, the reverse with cast inscription, "Donated by Ralph Ellis/ Commodore/ Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club," surrounded by two stylized dolphins, dia. 3 in.
