Description:

Shakhrisabz Suzani, Uzbekistan, early 19th century, the allover densely embroidered pattern of large red and apricot floral roundels and quatrefoil medallions encircled by deep teal/green colored stylized vines, with peacocks, rosettes, and chevron-patterned outlining in light blue, yellow, magenta, aubergine, and apple green on a cotton ground, 9 ft. 11 in. x 6 ft. 11 in.
