Shirvan Long Rug, East Caucasus, dated 1913, the deep indigo field with a row of five polychrome contiguous and concentric stepped hexagons flanked at both ends by a flattened sawtooth medallion and sparsely surrounded by eight-pointed stars, all within an ivory marasali bird-form main border, multiple stylized rosette minor borders, 9 ft. 10 in. x 4 ft.
