Flattened Rounded Rectangular Soapstone Snuff Bottle, China, 18th/19th century, with slightly tapering oval neck, resting on a short oval foot, decorated with a raised animal head on the two narrow sides, the two broader sides with Daoist immortals and a landscape with two figures, all in low relief on a recessed rectangular panel, the oval silver stopper with a domed amber inset, ht. 3 1/8 in.
