Signed "Nolde" l.l., identified on a label from M. Knoedler & Co., Inc., New York,
affixed to the backing.
Gouache on wove paper, sheet size 10 3/8 x 18 in. (25.4 x 45.7 cm),framed.
Condition: Foxing, minor acid burn, subtle handling creases, tape hinged to backing mat.

Provenance: Nolde Foundation (on consignment through M. Knoedler & Co., Inc., New York, February 16, 1967); to a private collection, purchased April 11, 1967; […]; private Massachusetts collection.
