After Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973)

Faunes et Flore D'Antibes/Portfolio of Twelve Lithographs, 1960, number 52 from the American edition of 125, printed by Daniel Jacomet, Paris, published by New York Graphic Society, Greenwich, Connecticut, and Au Pont Des Arts, Paris. Portfolio includes title page, preface by Jaime Sabartès, and edition justification, missing one plate. Offset color lithographs, sheet sizes 25 1/2 x 19 3/4 in. (64.8 x 50.2 cm),presented in the original linen portfolio folder (minor soiling to cover, interior flap of folder torn).
Condition: Minor wear, scattered unobtrusive pinpoints of foxing.

N.B. The prints reproduce Picasso's paintings known as La Joie de Vivre suite made at Antibes from August to September, 1946.

MInor handling crimps on sheets. Scattered foxing at l.l. corner and side of title page and interior of housing. Foxing on the verso of the last print and at l.l. of the recto of second to last sheet.
