Polychrome Decorated Carved Pine American Flag, attributed to George Stapf (1862-1958), Lancaster and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, c. late 19th/early 20th century, the elongated "waving" form with applied gesso stars, original surface, (repair, imperfections), lg. 36 in.

repair to old crack where the piece was once broken in half, three drilled holes, missing majority of stars, and remaining stars with losses.
