Sewan Kazak Rug, Southwest Caucasus, late 19th century, the ivory cruciform center medallion inset with a smaller light green gabled and hooked medallion and surrounded by polychrome hooked diamonds, "S" devices, and two large ivory brackets with zoomorphic palmettes all upon a red field of similar design, all within an ivory double hooked "S" main border, reciprocal trefoil minor border, 8 ft. 4 in. x 4 ft. 5 in.
