Small Black- and Red-painted Poplar Folding Game Board with Checkers, possibly New Hampshire, late 19th century, the rectangular form opens to reveal the playing pieces, and folds flat for play, the interior inscribed indistinctly in pen "the Bush--/S.F. Gilman(?)/Moultonborough/N. Hampshire," (minor paint wear), ht. closed 1 3/4, wd. 13, dp. closed 6 3/4 in.
