Portrait of Gifford Beal. Dedicated, signed, and dated "To Gifford Beal/from his friend-Paul Manship. 1944" within the cast on the underside. Terra-cotta bas relief, approximately 11 3/4 x 9 x 2 in., mounted to a wooden plinth. Condition: Restored break to neck.
