Elegant Young Woman Holding a Tatting Shuttle. Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 29 1/4 x 24 1/4 in., framed. Condition: Tear to u.r. quadrant, lined, retouch, craquelure, varnish inconsistencies, mild surface grime.
Estimate $300-500

t-shaped tear to u.r. quadrant, measuring approximately 3 x 3 inches and located 9 inches down and 7-1/2 inches in from the u.r. corner. One edge of the tear just enters the back of the sitter's bonnet.
