The Old South. Signed "M.S. PEARSON" l.l., titled on the reverse. Oil on canvasboard, 8 x 10 in., framed. Condition: Minor surface grime.

N.B. An envelope from the artist to a Mrs. William D. Sawler of Oak Point, Illinois, dated May 19, 1948, is affixed to the reverse.
