Royal Worcester Porcelain Aesthetic Movement PatienceTeapot and Cover, England, c. 1882, designed by R.W. Binns in the spirit of Oscar Wilde, gilded trim line to a polychrome enameled pot molded with a mustachioed dandy on one side and his female companion on the reverse, the base inscribed Fearful consequences, through the laws of natural selection and evolution of living up to one's teapot, signed "Budge" and with printed factory mark, ht. 6 in.

In very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations. Slight loss to tips of two of the sunflower petals.
