de Sandoz-Rollin, (Swiss,1740-1809),Horsemen Crossing a River, ink and wash, 9 x 13 3/4 in. (23.0 x 34.8 cm),matted.
Condition: Rescue with rippling at edges, tape-hinged to backing mat in two places on the reverse; Horsemen with minor staining and rippling, affixed to secondary paper support at each corner.
Provenance: Purchased from Colnaghi Gallery, London, in 1965 and 1955, respectively.
