Description:

Victorian Gilt-brass, Cased Glass, and Parian Epergne, bearing registry mark for May 9, 1865, Richard Hodd & William Linley, maker, the glass trumpet-form vase and two circular tiered trays with borders of amethyst cut-to-colorless diamonds and etched field, the knopped stems hung with pendant chains, above tripod base mounted with three unmarked parian figures of crouching maidens, on reticulated foliate feet, ht. 26 1/8 in.

Overall the glass and metalwork are in very good condition with light age typical wear. The large dish needs some sort of a "washer" to tighten it to the stand.
