American School, 19th Century

Alabaster Bust of Emerson, carved with long sideburns and bow tie, titled, and mounted to a circular socle, total ht. 15 5/8 in.
Estimate $500-700

Nick to the end of his nose, socle with numerous repairs. Minor chipped loss to bust around joint. Minor surface grime/discoloration.
