Sixteen Free-blown or Blown-molded Glass Items, America, 19th/20th century, including bottles, small tubes, canisters, etc., ht. to 14 1/2 in.
Note: A letter written by Faith Andrews' in reference to this glass reads in part "These glass containers came into our collection early in the 1930s from the Hancock Shakers - the Church and East Families. While the Shaker [sic] never developed a glass industry they bought their herb and pharmaceutical containers from the world... the pair of pale green "catsup" bottles described as a cathedral design were used in the bottle-ing [sic] of Shaker Catsup for the worlds [sic] people."
