Hand-aquatinted copper-plate engraving, on J. Whatman paper watermarked 1827, the sheet strongly toned, especially at the top, very gradually becoming lighter toward the bottom, horizontal line of discoloration across the top, just below the plate mark (an adhesive?),color a bit faded, some spotting at the bottom, 38 1/2 x 25 3/4 in.
