Description:

Model 1850 Non-regulation Foot Officer's Sword, c. 1861-65, brass hilt of simplified pattern with a shagreen-wrapped wooden grip, ricasso marked HORSTMANN/DRUCKER, and on the opposite side NEWYORK, steel scabbard with two carrying rings, blade lg. 31 3/4, overall lg. 37 1/2 in.

Grip missing some of shagreen, blade and scabbard in very good condition.
