Mermod Freres Coin-operated Full Orchestral Musical Box, Switzerland, c. 1890, with a ten-air 13-in. cylinder on a brass bedplate, triple comb, drum, castanet, six bells with butterfly, bee, and fly hammers, flower finials, "Jacot's Safety Check," all housed in a carved oak box, lg. 29 in.
Estimate $600-800

No broken teeth, surface rust on comb, silvering on all brass parts wearing off, slow/fast switch stuck in slow position, glazed hinged lid not attached and area around lock has been chewed out, coin operation needs reseting, need to hold down coin arm for box to play
