Description:

Painted Cast Iron Mechanical "Trick Pony" Bank, Shepard Hardware Co., c. 1885, by placing a coin in the mouth of the articulated head of the pony, and pulling a lever at the back of the bank to activate the head falling forward depositing the coin into the trough, ht. 7 3/4 in.

Lacking key to open the bank lock located on underside.
