Description:

Painted Cast Iron Mechanical "Magician Bank" Bank, J. & E. Stevens, c. 1901, a coin placed on the table and the lever pressed at the side of the stairs will lower the magician's hat, covering and triggering the fall of the coin into the bank below, ht. 8 in.

Mechanism is in working order. The platform where the coin sits needs spring adjustment, paint appears to be original.
