Kroeber "Noiseless Rotary No. 1" Derrick Clock, New York, c. 1884, round 11-in. ebonized wooden base supports the spring-powered, eight-day, time and strike movement with pierced hands, 5-in. paper Roman numeral dial, and the black derrick that supports the silk thread suspension for the nickel conical pendulum, all under the original glass dome, ht. 21 in.
The direction label is mostly intact, the model label has about a third remaining. The clock runs but may need a cleaning to function reliably.
