Sambo Blinking Eye Clock, attributed to Bradley and Hubbard, Meriden, Connecticut, the cast iron case in the form of a black banjo player dressed in a green shirt with red collar, cuffs and pants, thirty-hour, lever-escapement movement with paper on zinc dial with Roman numeral mounted in the body of the banjo, mechanical connection provides the up and down automaton motion to the eyes with the escapement action, all on a rectangular base, ht. 16 in.
