Atkins Clock Co. Thirty-day Wagon Spring Wall Clock, Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1855, rosewood drop octagon case with ripple molding, glazed brass bezel over the 12-in. painted zinc dial, round, brass, time-only movement mounted to the heavy cast iron frame of the equalizing lever spring (wagon spring), ht. 25 in.
Case in original finish with only minor veneer losses along back edge. Some paint loss on untouched original dial. Lower tablet appears to be original with some flaking.
