Jerome Ripple Front Wall Clock, New Haven, Connecticut, c. 1850, the rosewood and mahogany ripple molded short drop octagon case with carved side "ears,"12-in. painted zinc Roman numeral dial, eight-day, spring-powered, time and strike movement with the smaller strike spring mounted between brass caps and hooked to the center pillar post, ht. 22 in.
Dial and case in original finish. Veneer repair to object upper right. Movement ticks and strikes but should be cleaned and lubricated.
