Charles Wilder Mahogany Veneer Stick Barometer, Peterboro, New Hampshire, 19th century, exposed glass mercury tube dividing the silvered barometer scale, marked as above and Woodruff's PAT. June 5, 1860, and the alcohol thermometer plate, marked Wilder Troy, N.Y., vernier scale adjusted by a metal rod protruding through the arched top, glazed hinged door, terminating in a molded base, ht. 37 1/2 in.
