Description:

American Horseman's Saber, c. late 18th century, brass-hilted sword with brass wire-wrapped wooden grip, unmarked partially blued steel blade with triple fullers, blade lg. 33, overall lg. 40 1/2 in.

Provenance: Deaccessioned from a private museum in New England.
Estimate $1,500-2,000

Overall in very good condition with some patina and blueing loss from age, wooden grip has a few very small nicks.
