Nathaniel Munroe Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1815, the mahogany case with convex painted iron Arabic numeral dial, gilt rope moldings frame the reverse-painted glasses, the throat flanked by brass side ornaments with stenciled decoration, Federal eagle and marked N. Munroe, the lower on a red and green ground with silver leaf stenciling and shield pendulum aperture, eight-day timepiece with lead weight, pendulum, and butterfly tie-down, ht. 33 in.

Dial undisturbed, throat glass appears to be original, movement, weight, pendulum, case brass hardware, tie-down are original, lower glass is repainted, probably had a pedestal.
