Mahogany Eight-day Tall Clock, probably Philadelphia area, c. 1810, highly figured mahogany veneered scroll-top case with urn finials, freestanding columns flanking the arched and glazed door over the painted iron Arabic numeral dial with floral spandrels and moons age in the arch, crotch mahogany veneered rectangular waist door flanked by chamfered reeded columns and figured base with serpentine skirt and French feet, eight-day time and strike movement with hour bell strike, recoil escapement, pendulum and two lead weights, ht. 100 in.
