Levi and Abel Hutchins Tall Clock, Concord, New Hampshire, c. 1790, the maple scroll-top case with carved rosettes, free-standing columns flanking the arched and glazed hood door over the five-piece engraved sheet brass dial with Roman numerals and signed in the arch Levi & Abel Hutchins, Concord, tombstone-shaped waist door and bracket foot base, eight-day time and hour-strike movement powered by two tin-cased weights and regulated by a brass-faced pendulum, ht. 86 1/2 in.
