Hamilton Model 21 Two Day Chronometer, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, No. 8854, with silvered dial marked with maker's name, location, number as above and 1941, damascened nickel chain fusee movement with a balance of uncut stainless steel rim and Invar cross arm, helical hairspring, maintaining power, and externally operated balance arrest mechanism, housed in a fully gimbaled brass bowl in a three-tiered brass-bound mahogany box with carrying handles all in a felt-cushioned outer carrying box, ht. 9 3/4 in.
