18kt Gold Open Face Quarter-repeating Musical Watch, France, c. 1860, the raised Roman numeral champleve dial with engine-turned matted center and fine matte background on the numerals, blued steel diamond hands, cuvette marked at three arbors, Montre/Musique/ and Aiguilles, the gilt movement with cylinder escapement, quarter-repeat function on command by pushing the crown, and musical barrel to play music on the hour, dia. 56 mm.
